Information We Collect

PriceLogBook is designed to work without requiring account creation or login. We do not collect passwords or personal profiles. The information we may collect includes:

• Email address — only if you voluntarily subscribe to a price alert. Your email is used solely to send price drop notifications for the product you selected.
• Product URLs — when you paste an Amazon or Flipkart URL to track a product, we store the URL to fetch pricing data.
• Usage analytics — anonymised page view and site usage data collected via Google Analytics (see below).

No Account Required

PriceLogBook does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide a password. You can browse all price history data, deals, and product pages without providing any personal information.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-MWSEL33C87) to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often you visit, which pages you view, and what other sites you visited before coming to PriceLogBook. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. The information generated is transmitted to and stored by Google on its servers.

We use this data exclusively to improve our website and understand traffic patterns. We do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google AdSense

We display advertisements on PriceLogBookthrough Google AdSense. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other websites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalised ads to you. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

PriceLogBook uses the following types of cookies:

Price Alerts

If you subscribe to a price alert, we store your email address alongside the product and target price you selected. Your email is used exclusively to send you a notification when the price drops to or below your target. We never share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe from any price alert at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every notification email.

Amazon Associates

PriceLogBook participates in the Amazon Associates affiliate program. When you click on a product link that directs you to Amazon, the link contains an affiliate tracking tag. Amazon may collect data about your visit and purchases in accordance with Amazon's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to any personal data Amazon collects from these visits.

Data Retention

Price alert email addresses are retained until the alert is triggered (i.e. the price drops to the target) or until you cancel the alert. After that, the email address is deleted from our systems. Anonymised analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention policies.

Third-Party Services

PriceLogBook relies on the following third-party services that may process data as described in their respective privacy policies:

• Google Analytics — website usage analytics
• Google AdSense — display advertising
• Amazon Associates — affiliate product links
• Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) — email delivery for price alert notifications
